The Process

(How the Cooperative Works)

Retired Scientists

Phase 1.

RSC asks scientists retired or about to retire to join the Cooperative. This will entail:

a) CV submission

b) Filling out a questionnaire so that the expertise, the scope, the involvement of each in a given area could be assessed.

c) RSC will determine applicability of available experts. RSC will work with individual member scientists to determine where their expertise is most needed, or is most suitable or what their wishes are.

d) To the extent the scientist becomes a member of RSC, annual dues of $25 are requested.

Industry and Academia

Phase 2.

RSC asks industry, academia, communities and the society in general to begin seeking scientific help from RSC.

a) Contact RSC.

b) When contacted, RSC will establish communications between a suitable scientist and the interested party.

c) Relationship between scientist and potential employer is formed directly.

d) Employing organizations will be asked for donations to the Cooperative.

Communities / Social Activities

Phase 3.

It is currently on the agenda of the Cooperative to conduct lectures and/or discussion groups for the mature segment of population in special scientific topics.

RSC will help organize lectures or discussion groups on any topic of public interest.
