(1) A university in
Massachusetts wants to instruct its physics students in astrophysics
and does not the funding to retain a full-time astrophysicist. A RSC
astrophysicist would conduct several lectures or even a full-term on
astrophysics. The scientist would receive an honorarium and RSC would
solicit the scientist for a donation (5% of his honorarium to RSC).
(2) A research scientist
at Columbia University would like to verify his radioactive chloride
flux measurements across membranes by electrophysiological
measurements, but does not have the know-how and would like either to
learn the technique or have an RSC electrophysiologist to perform the
needed measurements. The honorariums will be set by RSC as requested
by IRS.
